R.W.R. McDonald to Appear at Bloody Scotland 2026
I’m thrilled to be joining the programme for Bloody Scotland 2026, one of the world’s leading crime writing festivals.
I’ll be appearing on the Die Laughing panel alongside David Weir and C.E. Hulse, discussing the joy of writing crime novels that blend mystery with humour. The session celebrates stories that prove murder mysteries can be both suspenseful and laugh-out-loud funny.
The panel will also feature my UK novel, The Nancys and the Case of the Missing Necklace, published by Orenda Books, alongside David Weir’s The Honourable Member for Murder and C.E. Hulse’s Vivian Dies Again.
The event takes place on Saturday 19 September, from 10.00–11.00 am, in Stirling, Scotland.
I’m incredibly honoured to be part of this year’s programme and look forward to meeting readers, fellow writers and crime fiction fans from around the world.
