THE NANCYS REVIEW

Review from @koalateareads

I was completely enamoured with this story from page one right up to the very end. Rob’s writing is so visual and I found it easy to relate to all the characters, from Tippy to Uncle Pike even to Melanie. Their backstories were fully formed and they all left their mark during this gripping tale. The plot twists were amazing and having loved detective stories myself, I had theories of “whodunnit?” but they were always wrong. The dynamics between Tippy, Pike and Devon were so sweet, although perhaps saying yes to an eleven year old to go on a murder mystery adventure probably wasn’t the best idea – but it worked out in the end.

“’In hindsight, perhaps taking you to a murderer’s house was not the smartest move.’”

I’m really looking forward to reading Rob’s new book ‘Nancy Business’ as I’m so keen to see what mystery they’ll solve next! All in all it’s filled with quirky characters, gay uncles you never knew you always needed, dark humour, a little bit of gore, a lot of swearing and genuine heart-warming moments. Read it!

“‘What if we’re wrong?’
‘What if we’re not?’”
