THE NANCYS REVIEW from Elizabeth Coleman

My copy of The Nancys by @rwrmcdonald is looking a tad dog-eared because I could barely put it down. I know I’m late to the party, but I love this book. ❤️ It’s so funny and sweet and so smart and dark, all at the same time. And Tippy Chan, Uncle Pike and Devon are such gorgeous and compelling characters that I just want to keep hanging around with them. So it’s lucky for me that I can dive straight into the sequel, Nancy Business.
I couldn’t recommend this book more highly.

THINGS WE BURY – Matthew Ryan Davies

Things we Bury @mattryandavies , published this year. Loved this for so many reasons – the writing was excellent with vivid, fully realised characters, capturing of family dynamics and sibling relationships, the intergenerational dealing with grief, mental health, regional Australia. But above all for me it was the exploration of the impact of legacy.
