Q-Lit Ballarat – 15th Jan 2023

We are so excited to have RWR McDonald on the program for Q-Lit Ballarat, 15th Jan 2023. Can’t wait!

R.W.R. McDonald (Rob) is an award-winning Kiwi author, living in Melbourne, Australia with his two daughters and one HarryCat. His debut novel, The Nancys, won Best First Novel in the 2020 Ngaio Marsh Awards, as well as being a finalist in the Best Novel category. It was shortlisted for Best First Novel in the 2020 Ned Kelly Awards, and Highly Commended for an Unpublished Manuscript in the 2017 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. Rob’s second novel, Nancy Business, published 1st June 2021, was a finalist in the 2022 Ngaio Marsh Awards, Best Novel.
Rob is a co-founder of QueerWrites Sessions and hosts QWS Podcast, on the Words & Nerds Podcast platform. Rob also tutors at Writing NSW and for Faber Writing Academy.
