Celebrated the launch of my fellow Faber Academy classmate, Jeanie Green. Her debut The House Sitter is out now – more details can be found on her website https://www.jeaniegreen.com/

A great event and the wonderful Jeanie Green also raised $790 to the RSPCA Bushfire Appeal from sales and donations on the day – LEGEND!

The beautiful people at my local bookshop @sunbookshop in Yarraville have done this post – made me quite teary to see alot of the authors in one spot – and this isn’t including all of them or all the amazing editors, illustrators, librarians, bookstores, publishers, writers, readers and other book loving people who are auctioning and bidding to raise money #authorsforfireys – @novaweetman and @emilygalebooksetc you should be proud, thank you again for organising❤️ @withrepost • @sunbookshop Have you heard about #authorsforfireys ? These authors, both local and international, plus many more are auctioning off books, prints, written feedback, workshops, commissions, poems, visits, lunches and so much more over on Twitter to raise funds for our firefighters! (When we say many more, we literally had to restrain Josh from totally covering the counter in books so we could serve customers!) Head on over to Twitter to see what’s up for auction. Thank you to these incredible authors and publishers for your generosity and community spirit in this difficult time 💖 • #authorsforfireys #australianauthors #bookcommunity #bookstagram #australianbushfires #australia
